I'm a huge music fan. My tastes spread across most genres, but I think I connect especially with artists who bring sincerity and heart to their music. Monte definitely does that. I found Mirror in a cheapie bin at a used CD store in 2000 and picked it up based solely on the cover. I popped it in for my drive home, and it absolutely blew me away. I've bought everything else before and since, seen his shows whenever he's in the Southeast (not often enough!), and have converted several friends along the way. Monte's an incredible talent and just a really cool guy. I'm happy to see that this site exists and there are indeed others who share my love for Monte's music.
